DIRECT PAYMENTS
Direct Payments are funds provided by your local council to help you.

This gives you more control over your personal care support putting you back into control of what care provider you want, what times you would like and who you want to support you.

They are part of a personal budget and are offered to individuals who have been assessed as eligible for social care support.​​
NHS HEALTHCARE
NHS funded care refers to two types of support for people with significant health needs
NHS-funded nursing care (FNC) is a contribution towards nursing care costs of care for people who aren't eligible for Continuing Healthcare,
while NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) is full, free funding for people whose primary need is health-related, covering all care costs, including accommodation. ​​​
