CORONAVIRUS (COVID 19)-Information and Advice

With the recent and ever-changing news about COVID-19 in the UK, this is a challenging time for many of us, and the wellness of Care4u2day Ltd service users and staff is very much top of our minds at the moment. As we all adjust to a rapidly changing situation, we wanted to update you on the steps we are taking to ensure we continue to deliver exceptional care for you and your loved ones whilst maintaining standards in health and safety.

Care4u2day Ltd is keeping up to date with the latest public health and government information about the risk of coronavirus in the UK. The infection control lead for the organization will maintain close links with local health protection teams and will be responsible for circulating essential information to staff and to service users and their families. Care4u2day Ltd will continue to fully comply with official advice, including Coronavirus (COVID-19): residential care, supported living and home care guidance, published by Public Health England (PHE).

Our first priority is ensuring our current workforce has access to the appropriate PPE (personal protection equipment) to enable them to continue providing the very best care. We have provided access to masks, aprons, gloves, and shoe covers as required. We are also continuously updating our practice and policies regarding infection control and communicate the information twice weekly.

The next priority is to secure the head office staff to ensure the welfare of our care coordinators, administrative staff and the management team and their continued ability to provide services to you that are safe and effective so we have recently made provisions to ensure they can work from home as and when it is necessary.

As we all adjust to this rapidly changing landscape, Care4u2day Ltd's Management team is working at full speed, and we will keep you updated with new changes as they become clear.

We encourage you to stay informed through legitimate and official sources and to call our office with any queries or concerns you may have.

CARE4U2DAY Member of Care Excellence

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) provides national guidance and advice to improve health and social care.

NICE's role is to improve outcomes for people using the NHS and other public health and social care services.

Producing evidence-based guidance and advice for health, public health, and social care practitioners.

Developing quality standards and performance metrics for those providing and commissioning health, public health, and social care services.

Providing a range of information services for commissioners, practitioners, and managers across health and social care.

CARE4U2DAY Member of Social Care Excellence

Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE) improves the lives of people of all ages by co-producing, sharing, and supporting the use of the best available knowledge and evidence about what works in social care and social work.

The Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE) is a leading values-driven improvement agency. In recent years we have evolved from a large government-funded body to a fast-moving, high-profile, and more commercial organization and thought leader.

We support commissioners and providers in developing and embedding practices that are innovative, have an impact, and enable effective scrutiny and accountability.

CARE4U2DAY Member United Kingdom Homecare Association

United Kingdom Homecare Association Ltd (UKHCA) is the professional association of home care providers from the independent, voluntary, not-for-profit, and statutory sectors. UKHCA helps organizations that provide social care (also known as domiciliary care or homecare), which may include nursing services, to people in their own homes, promoting high standards of care, and providing representation with national and regional policy-makers and regulators. The Association represents over two-thousand members across the United Kingdom, in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

UKHCA's Disclosure Service enables home care providers and other organisations to complete Disclosure and Barring checks (DBS checks) on their staff.

DBS checks enable employers to make decisions about the suitability of their workers to provide services to children or vulnerable adults and are a legal requirement in England and Wales.

The service is designed to help you comply with statutory regulations and to help make safer recruitment decisions.

Care Planner - CARE4U2DAY Partnership

Every day, our customers send talented care workers into vulnerable people’s homes to help them perform personal tasks, to eat healthily, to take necessary medication, and to socialise with others. In other words, to remain independent.

It’s what we all want in our old age, but fewer and fewer of us will actually manage to enjoy it. Unless that is, technology can play a role. Technology like ours – a complete staff rostering and management system built from the ground up for home-care companies.

Using our system, home care agencies can realise huge efficiency savings on everything from communicating with their staff to mileage costs. These savings can then be reinvested into front-line care.
